i got gentooX home 3.1 installed on the first try! yay with USB keyboard and mose. anyways sorry is my typing is bad lol i cant exactly see . anyways heres my questions:

1) I have a focus chip or atleats thats what gentoox said i had.. in the future, i am goin to get the xbox to vga converter.. how to i change the settings to take advantage of vga?

2) gaim and openoffice show up multiple times in the main menu.. gaim in diff sub menus but open office appears twice in the main menu.. any fix?

3) im running ot 800X600 is there a way to revert to 640x480? would that setting be clearer?

for 1 and 3 you need to login as root and type xbvset, not sure about 2, do you mean in kde or xfce4
