A CFV (call for vote) has been issued for the creation of the usenet newsgroup "comp.os.linux.xbox". Usenet newsgroups have many benefits over web based forums, and linux on xbox has matured to a point where a fully commissioned usenet newsgroup is warranted.
Go to the usenet newsgroup "news.groups" or "news.announce.newgroups" and look for a posting with the heading "CFV: comp.os.linux.xbox" for instructions on how to vote by email. The date of the posting is on 14.AUG.2004. You must use a legitimate email account, or they will reject you.
The YES votes must exceed the NO votes by 100, and 2/3 of the total votes must be YES.
