How long will I be banned from using magic

I just installed gentoox on my xbox with a focus chip. My computer is having hardware problems and it freezes or shuts off randomly. I am trying to get magic to run so I can get focus support going. When ever I log in with ssh and start running magic my computer freezes or shuts off so I can't get it to finish. I ihave started magic a few times and I think I have been banned from using it now because I can't log in anymore. If I did in fact get banned from it how long will I be banned and is there any way I can get magic to run with out having to be logged in to my xbox with ssh from my computer.

acctually I think I am banned from emerge sync.

emerge sync should be used, at the very most, once a day. In normal use more than once a week is pointless. I would hold off from doing any syncs for a week. You'll probably find that you'll be unbanned after 24 hours or so. If you really need to do a sync (broken portage or something) do an emerge web-rsync
