dvd/cd burner compatibility

are their any cd/dvd burners that are compatibile with both the xbox and gentoox? i know it requires modding the burner to run on a xbox but are their any that have actually been used?

any IDE CD/DVD burner should be compatible with gentoox, I can´t see any reason why they wouldn´t be. Just remove your orginal drive and replace it with the burner set as slave. Just remember you won´t be able to playany original xbox games.

ok, how do i configure gentoox to work with the burner so i can acutally burn things?
