I want to know if it is possible to post a question in one forum rather than two, I think it should be,
I reckon if you just post to the first forum then stop it should be OK, but I'm worried I may have to post to the second forum just to make sure people get annoyed and don't bother replying to my posts.

If you keep an open mind, will your brain fall out?
I have never seen a USB->PS2->KVM setup work. What I've seen leads me to believe it's a power issue. That being said I've never seen a setup like you're talking about. Power doesn't seem to enter into it as you're not directly powering a device.
You might have to make some custom cables for that in order to work with existing adapters.
