XviD/Divx Subtitles File (*.srt) font too small?

I'm running Gentoox MCE 1.3 with everything pretty much default. I have a movie in Xvid that is in another language and it has along with it an srt file. With the srt file named the same as the avi the player picks it up automatically, but the font is way to small.
It's readable but about 2-3 sizes too small. Where would the config file be? I'm not even sure what MythTV is using as the media player. Thanks for any help.
