I try to get a Hauppauge Nova USB to work. Its an DVB Card.
I enabled the TV Icon and the TV options but i didnt get it to work.
It could not find the device.Driver are installed.
No i read on mythtv.org that there is another setup!? there you can choose
the videograpper card. Where could it be?

Of course,sorry.

I edited the /root/.xinitrc and the .xsession into

#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/setterm -blank 0 -powerdown 0
mythsetup
#mythfrontend
twm

because i thougt this two files are the reason of autobooting into mce!?
Total linux noob!:-)
Then reboot, but nothing change...(Don't know why, probably anybody else?)
Leave mce with STRG+ALT+F4
then kill the x-server (or do this over putty)
then start the X with "startx" again, and now you don't have the normal
menu.you have the setup.

startx is started as user "myth" whose home directory is /media... so the file you wanted to edit was /media/.xinitrc ;)
