Is the media player a seperate linux installation (seperate from Gentoox)? If so what distro is it based on?
How come you need 20GB of disk space?

I thought of a few more questions.

What is the audio support going to be like?
I assume Dolby Digital and DTS passthrough will be implemented? Have they been yet?

Yes, its a seperate distro .. but still based on Gentoox
Im using alsa 0.9.2 with the old patches which _should_ make optical work.
