xbox remote-Philips MCE old style remote

Hi there I have a oldstyle Windows MCE 2k4 compliant/2k5 compliant remote(philips one)
I have been hunting down over the net for drivers for lirc and I found one but it didn't even work in lirc it just stated that it wasent a proper remote driver. Could anyone that has had theirs working with LIRC tell me exactly what files to edit and what to put in them.
