Im guessing you deleted the old gentoox from within Gentoox. Dont touch your old gentoox! Stardust does it all for you. Youll probably need to format your E: drive now :\

They cant be OS critical with your connection. Set the IP statically from the config in /etc/conf.d/net (find out your IP first)

Straight cable, and you need to edit /etc/conf.d/net to setup your ip/ gateway etc...

You have to remember, Xbox-Linux is still in beta stages, so not everything is gonna be working 100%. I personally have never lost USB though.

They shouldnt simply stop working. "magic anything_here" will just get the magic script to update as if you were just typing "magic". It will probably have updated the kernel. Try rebooting, it might make USB work again.
