Yes, I also want this. When i try to change resolution in x config my screen just go black. What??? Debian is easy and self configuring too..
When u have booted it u type su - and password: xbox
and then u type XBOXLinuxInstall and u get some questions if u want debian on f or e or the whole HD...
It's real easy and maybe faster than gentoox.

VGA how do I change resolutions?

I made my own VGA cable with sync splitter. I get 800x600 res when I boot in cronwell. I installed Linux now but I get 640x480 res I think. How do u change resolution? I tried with fbset but then the picture just get fu***... I need help. :? Ohh I want to have 1024x768 I tried with exact nummbers I ...
