Hehee gets you going don't it :D Don't worry you only have one boot folder. Within this is a symbolic link file called boot which links back to boot. (catch 22) If you check the file times and dates they are all the same. Also if you use the filemanager within Webmin you can see it is a link ...

Okay, I am gonna ask a stupid question. But what does xfs have to do with the legality of content? I just want to use pro for an apache web server. If that is the case, what is the most resilient file-system for that type of use. For backing up, having it set up to use loopback with a rootfs is very...

Yep, good question. I would like to know as well.

I have a native install of Pro and it formats the F drive in Reiserfs. I had a power failure a week ago and when I started my server up again it was trashed. I guess as it was not shutdown correctly?

Yep that is what I did. Still not done the ram upgrade yet so I am not sure if I will get the full ram that way. If not I will go with the 640x480 on bank 2.

Hi Trixter,

I use an X-ecuter 2.2. with the x2 4977 bios. I have bank one set to boot Evox and bank two set to boot gentooxx directly.

What chip do you have?

ShALLaX:- If it bothers you that much I will change the text. I have seen many sites with a similar disclaimer and it is no big deal. Yours said all I needed to say and it saved me a bit of time, thats all. I have removed the disclaimer page until I have crafted my own words. If you remember I *wrot...

Yep a hub works fine. I have a Belkin 4 port hub.

I use 1 port for a keyboard, 1 for a mouse & 1 for a web cam. I do not use an external power supply.

Works great.

If you are doing a network install it must be to e. After it is on e you can magic f-drive to move the swap and rootfs to f.

1.1 only applies if you are installing via stardust.

I am sure v3.0 will be out within a week or so, so wait until then if you can

Cheers

I have got some chips on the way :D . The only way I know for *home* installation is the solder/oven way. I really don't fancy the oven method so I am gonna solder them.

Wish me luck
