Can you not throw it onto a dvd with a dummy file?

dvd-r work in any WORKING xbox dvd drive that i know of.

I always used to rename it to default.xbe and put it in a folder on it's own in the e drive. and edit the ini to reflect this.

Unfortunatly It didn't help. after looking at the temp folder i found files equaling around 3gb. Figuring that would be enough usable space I deleted them all and then found i have even less space than before I deleted them. At this stage I feel like a total looser... sigh... Is there any maintence ...
