I did what effbiai posted, emerge mozilla-firefox. It fixed it and even upgradeed it from 0.7 to 0.8. Took like 4 hours though, my poor xbox was on for like 2 days to install gentoox, install GDM, run magic, fix mozilla, and I emerged gnome. Now I have to figure out how to add a user, change the pas...

Adduser

How do I add a user? On debian it is just adduser but that does not work on Gentoox. Also how can I change the password on the gentoox user? Thanks in advance for any help with this. :)

Mozilla browser not working (xfce after magic)

Ok, I installed Gentoox Home V3.0 last night emerged gdm then ran magic. Before magic I surfed the net for a minute to check my IP settings and mozilla worked fine. I ran magic and now I get and error that says it can't be found (I'm using the xfce 4 gui). How do I fix this? Do I need to just emerge...

Anyway To Resize Gentoox Home V3.0

I'm using debian right now but would like to go back to Gentoox Home v3.0 but was wondering if you can make it take up less space on the HD. Debian let's you select how big to make the swap and root. The root only ends up taking a max of 2 gigs and I was wanting to do this with gentoox. Someone in c...

I am having the same problem myself. I thought it was because I emerged gdm and gnome. I was going to reinstall Gentoox today but it sounds like it is not gdm or gnome that is the problem. BTW, I think the LED is orange even though it does not look very orange to me. What is going on with Gentoox to...

New cromwell bios just for HDTV?

Does the new cromwell bios just have HDTV support or is it for HDTV's only? I'm thinking it just has HDTV support but I want to make sure before I use it. I also noticed it does not have a 640x480.bin or a 600x800.bin like the cromwell that came with the Gentoox rar file. I used the cromwell 640x480...
