just wait and see.. there is no exact how long it takes.. cuz when people rrun other stuff that the compile it take a lot longer.. my xfree86 merging (with all included exept sync) took about 5 days.. (120h) but i worked with my xbox beside... (the manual when i started the compile said it would tak...

and you are sure that you connect to the correct ip adress? rin 'ifconfig' on the xbox and check the ip adress

hmm.. sems you have some trouble with your installation.. try to copy the files in the distro.rar file (who is in the iso file) to root in drive E, check if the gentoox boot correctly with an "fresh" "installation"..
