I have searched and reset the date 24 hr time and year.

Why does emerging consistently fail?
Your clock MUST be set CORRECTLY. To do this, run the following command as root:

date MMDDhhmmYYYY

For example, for Jan 24th 2004 10:38pm:

date 012422382004 01 24 2238 2004

xbvset did not run after magic

I typed in su - entered xbox and for the first time I got to root.

i typed xbvset and it did nothing so I typed magic and magic started.

all this in terninal. still going.At the very beginning magic ask me if i wanted something .What was it asking I can't read it so I typed no.

if you mean settings for the tool box I have nothing beside it to click on as for your vbset what is the command line please. Perhaps that is why I ca not see the "small arrow" so If you would be kind enough Please tell me step by step how to run xbvset then I may see the arrow Thank you
