it looks like it is trying to mount a rootfs file of the cdrom... i'll put my gentoox cd stardust in...

i doubt that will work.

I did not login as root when i ran magic f-drive

I tried magic f-drive everything seemed cool except for when it went to reboot. it starts up and says it can't create some files, then says something like: kernal panic: init failed i can unrar the distro file back to my e, but i need to get this on f, i don't have any space for all my saves etc on ...

great, I guess then it took so long because it was the first time. is there a good place too learn all the basic basic stuff, terms etc ? would anyone be able to guess how long it takes to magic f-drive ? hmmm, i guess i will have more questions when i get home and start fiddling with it. thats the ...

ok so I installed gentoox, nice stuff ! I'm using xfce, everything seems cool, but a few times my controller did not work. and once i closed the keyboard and could not get it back, and i did not shut down correctly... etc... so anyways, xfce crashed I guess. All I would see is the sides on the panel...
