are you getting an error message with umount. are you running the command as root.

how much space do you have on your E drive, and how did you format (create the F drive) on your xbox.

If you did, please start with giving all details on what your xbox is and what gentoox you installed and what all have you did with that.

read the manuals, tutorials and do a search...

emerge sync

and also do a search sometimes that will help in this site.

do you have a router. Have you setup the forward addresses.

duh.. I should have known that seeing your 192.x that you do have a router setup.

you need to forward the ftp port on your router to your xbox address.

dont know whether u care, but if i put ur ip-address, it gives me a directory listing. Dont know whether you want to turn that off and setup a default page...

dont know whether the emerge got you php5 so go ahead and change PHP4 to PHP5 and try.

If that doesnt work, i kinda remember that i did emerge apache2 && emerge mod_php . I will try to find out that for you..

did you update config /etc/conf.d/apache2 with
APACHE2_OPTS="-D SSL -D PHP4"

and
Restart Apache: /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

The error doesnt say "error writing to F". How much space do you have in the E drive.
