Home should fit on a CD just fine, check to make sure your download isn't corrupted. And while you're at that, make sure you Pro download isn't corrupted. After that, make sure you're burning the actual ISO, and that you're not burning the rar file or the extracted ISO file itself to the disc. Alter...

You're missing the point. You never resized your partition, you simply wiped all existing data on it, which lead to more free space. The partition table was still the same, and the size of the partition was still the same, you just had more free space than before because all the files on it were era...

Well there's no need to format anything, it'll have almost the same effect of deleting stuff. It would be easier just to delete stuff than to format the partition. perhaps, the point of my post was that after I reformatted my E: i was left with a larger partition that what M$ gave to me No, it dele...

Like I said.... backup the data to your PC, delete enough of it till you have space, then ftp gentoox to E. Run gentoox and get everything configured, then shutdown, and then use restoox to move it to your F drive. Then you can ftp the stuff from your computer back to your E drive. That'll be the ea...

I have a Microsoft MN-510 USB adaptor (it's not a stick though) working with the linux-wlan-ng drivers. I can't get WEP to work, but apart from that, it works just fine (if you do decide to use the linux-wlan-ng drivers, you may have to use dhcpcd to get an IP for your wireless adaptor, I couldn't g...

I'm not useing a usb adaptor, I have the xbox wired to the router, which is a linksys WAP54G Well that's an access point, not a router.... I'm assuming it works without WEP? If it does, then you just need to update the network settings on your PC. Reading the manual on the Linksys website, it seems...

You only changed the settings on the eeprom, which would apply only to non-linux apps (with the exception of gentoox loader/cromwell). You need to actually run xbvset in gentoox, so that Gentoox knows to change its resolution. But first, load up Gentoox like you normally do and ssh in. All you need ...

How do I use VNCViewer? I have version 3.3.7, and when the VNC server box comes up, I don't know what to type... tried the xbox IP, tried the xbox login, I just don't know! It always comes up saying "failed to connect to server". Do I need anything else running? Because I assumed I had to...

Also, when I do install gentoox successfully, am I still going to have that overscan problem when it's installed? If so, is there any way to bring up the screen to my PC monitor, even though it's installed and everything? Yes, the overscan problem cannot be solved, except for running it in 480p mod...
