I recently installed gentoox on my 1.5 box and have found it to be VERY slow. I am using KFCE and have tried KDE, but KDE is MUCH slower again - infact it is unuasble. Installing flashplayer
I have downloaded flash player through the konqueror browser and uncompressed it with ark. I then went to the directory i had uncompressed it too and ran the command /flashplayer-installer as per the instructions. Now the red light led on my xbox is flashing... does that mean that it is installing? ...

Fine yesterday - bad today
Installed gentoox on my 1.4 box yesterday and all was fine. (used SSH to do magic and solve the display issue). Turned on today and have lots of errors on boot, mostly saying file/directory not found. The final message says: kernel panic - atempted to kill init! it then just hangs....... I am new to...
