Ok, i´ll give it another try this weekend, but still remember when my xbox shut down itself after 10 working hours, i got scared, then i remebered about the teperature thing, mine is vers. 1.0.

how´s the weather where u live? i mean where i live is like 25-30ºc most of the year, the xbox shut itself down after 69ºC or something like that.

Nobspangle i did that on sunday with mozilla in order to upgrade vers. 1.4 to 1.6, it started at 1pm and still 9pm my xbox was working with that, so i stopped the process, i was afraid of too much internal heat, well i guess that i´ll stay with the current softwares.

is it possible to install, for example opera for linux, from a cdrw? or download it with mozilla and install it from getooxx?, i was reading from the Faqs that you can you use emerge and the name of the software, but i couldn´t find any more info about it.

i noticed too that also with gentooxx after running magic and rebooting i was in xfce then i went tokde but when loading the os it got stuck, i couldn´t do anything so i decided to change the bootlinux.cfg (117kb) for the original one (99kb), everything was fine gain and running kde, then i decided ...

besides of kfce being faster, wich are the differences btween both?, i mean, i was using kde so i ran magic to update the after 5 hour downloading and answering some question it boot then after loading i'm in kfce enviromen or whatever is called, now, how, do i get bak to kde and viceversa?, how do ...

max albert, thanks, i´m new to this but i already managed to do some work with gentoox, beside of the tut i have read, but i wanted to know, how do you open kfce4? is it a command to run in terminal konsole? and how do you get back to kde then?

Those last two numbers (the 15.00) are basically measures of how big those borders are, so try changing themj to something smaller you mean increasing them, right? i guess those are x and y coordinates, so if got black borders on the sides i just increase the values of X. sorry to bring this old pos...

am i doing something wrong? i have kde 3.01, please i need to know how to change the UI because it´s hard to read anything.

i got everything fully working but the size of the screen is 800x600 and can't berely see anything, is there any way to fix this?, i have 27¨ tv monitor
