gentoox tries to mount rootfs from cd on boot..

one day i was trying to free up space on my rootfs so i went ahead and deleted all the files in /tmp...the next time i went to load up gentoox, it would not load gdm or X11 ,anything graphical. everything command lin based still worked fine only i couldn't start xfce -or kde i guess, why would i wan...

nope, no live tv support in XBMC, can only stream solid movies/videos/audio or live radio with shoutcast. justintime: I think what he means is what input are you receiving the tv signal from which i assume would be one of those usb tv tuners as i've read others have tried those.

i tired vmware and i actually still have it installed but i can't get it to work, everytime i try to' turn on' the windows OS from within it does nothing and i get some errors in the xterm, maybe you can get it working though, good luck :)

well,
i opened /etc/samba/smb.conf but didn't find any [printers] section...does that mean something? i can see the printer in xffm and it says its a printer (canoni860) with a little printer icon so the network can see it, just not access it?

well, with mozilla i'm pretty sure when you download a torrent file it would ask you if you want to open it with a specific program and then you would find the bittorrentgui file and it would ask if you always want to use this program and you say yes, then whenever you download a torrent file it aut...

the xbox's fatx filesystem has a 42 character limitation as well as many special characters such as commas and *'s, so it will not let you write a file to it with a larger filename, this includes the extension of the file from what i've seen, hope that helps :)
