thats like a drug dealer getting robbed for his drugs. can he go to the police? its kinda funny how people who don't know what they are doing willingly jump so quick into something that could potentially destroy their beloved xbox. I think I read web pages and forums for a month or so before even bu...

using webmin (or command line, your preference) create a user in mysql. then give that user permissions on the phpbb db.

or you can install phpmyadmin. its very good for administering an SQL database.

I would suggest, get PHP working with apache so you can serve up PHP pages, and then get http://www.phpbb.com for your message board. also, for administering Apache, if you would rather not hand edit the config files, use webmin, it does a nice job of administering PHP. if the frontpage ftp isn't wo...

I believe rdesktop will do it.

I have not tried it with XP remote desktop exactly.
I have used XP remote desktop to connect to terminal services on 2000 server, and I have also used rdesktop (on redhat) to connect to the same terminal service, so I would imagine it would work

I now have this problem. I bought the pelican wireless controllers, they work fine with games, dashboard, everything else. gentoox doesn't like them. So I then tried it with a madcatz controller plugged in, still no good, now neither of them work, no controllers are working at this point. so I ssh a...

I searched the forum and didn't find this topic (I am sure its there I just couldn't find it  ) I had wireless controllers plugged into the xbox for the first time without the wired controllers. gentoox went to the boot loader, I guess it has a time limit and then goes with the default, so gen...

the only issue I can see is them releasing an "official" Xbox Gentoo which will probably kill Gentoox off. even if they did make their own gentoo port, I would stick with you (not that my vote means squat) as I am sure many others would. They are just jealous of magic, I mean, can you bla...

I know it is said that magic is unstable...
