J2EE server on Gentoox... Possible ?

Hello,

I'd want to learn j2ee programming and I'd want to use an cheap xbox to host my work. (This kind of hosting cost at least 10€/mth)
Will it be sufficient ? (I don't expect a lot of traffic and I won't load X as I will only ssh into my box)

Yes but it's seem to me very hard to configure. I use an lan connection and I don't know how to configure HTTP proxy ( I haven't found on the tutorial )

Arrrg! Don't work... yes I succed (I think) creating a new kernel.
I have overwritten vmlinux in /boot/ and in /mnt/fatx/e/ with my brand new bzImage but (as usual) linux boot but don't recognize vga cable, it continues to send PAL signal.

I have no idea what to do now....
