Soo i'm looking for a tool that would be a cross between VNC and Putty (ssh) as to where i could startx from my computer on the xbox and it would pop up like VNC. alot of this information should stay archived in some sort of way for future reference considering these xboxs are getting pretty old, cheap, and easy to come by. they still do some nice things, i still use xbmc to stream music and videos through the tv since my s-video went out on my vid card.

i beleive thats it, what i was getting at was in installed xfce through magic and i run start x and it says i have to configure x and i couldnt remember if there was a script to automatically configure x because the last time i have done that was mandrake 8 and i had to do it manual

If the dvd player under your seat has the (RCS) input wires hooking it up the the factory screen would be a breeze. Use a DC to AC converter which can be bought at many retail stores, the xbox doesnt require much on watts i think my cheapo convertor was 150watts 300watts max and it worked fine. Sear...

you could always use any torrent client and VNC server... then on the computer use VNC viewer to check on your torrents. Good way to keep stuff private eh?
