Hmmm the Output of your emerge -pv xfce4 is rather strange because previously it said xfce4-base is blocking.

Well you can try to remove xfce4-base and then run magic again to install xfce4

# emerge -C xfce4-base
# magic

hope that helps

Update to Alsa 1.0.4 -> no digi-out

Today i used magic to update alsa to version 1.0.4

since then no digital-out works anymore. only standard stereo output via cinch.

Anyone has a solution to fix this?

maybe it's a bug in your winex cvs version
try another one or get the real thing (winex full for 5$)

it solves a lot of problems even the blizzard patcher so you don't have to use another windows pc to update your installation

i only get 640x480 to work....

higher res isn't possible, not because of my monitor but because the xbox just won't do 800x600 or higher

what did you experience?

native vga -> script

it would be nice if there was some kind of script for compiling the kernel to output for native vga (pixel8's cable)

it's such a mess to do this on your own.

you have to buy winex because of the copy protection of the game ( or you have to use a crack, i'm using cvs version of xbins )

d2 works nearly perfectly on the box you have to install d2 on a windows machine, patch it up to 1.10, then get a crack and copy it over to your xbox just run D2VidTst.exe and now you can play d2 :-) if there'll ever be a crack for 1.10 with battle.net you can even play it over the internet. Or you ...

i'm not sure why but it has something to do with vga-output.
everytime my vga-box is connected the box kills itself. Today i connected my rgb-cable and everything worked fine.
Reconnected vga and its the same problem...

a kit for sync seperation?? *gg*
Lol

you only need the Lm1881n (standard-ic) to convert the green sync signal

well i've written a small tutorial for this (german only so far) but the parts you need cost less than 4 Euro

If you're good at soldering you can complete this in about 1 hour
