sure it works like a charm. i personally prefer rtorrent => it has menus, a very customizable bahaviour and uses only very few resources. Using Azureus for example might be a bad idea on xbox due to the lack of resources. you may also want to have a look at the tool "screen" to allow rtorr...

if you don't have the tools (i.e. hot air soldering station) then i recommend using hot air gun on the other side of the board till the chips fall off. this is a very critical process since the memory ic's are very likely to overheat and break down. forget removing the ic's with desolder wire => it ...

i just isoldered additional 64mb ram to my second xbox's mainboard. now i want to swap the mainboard with my xbox server's mainboard. both xboxes have the conexant video controller and HDD is unlocked. both xboxes are 1.0 or 1.1 but not neccessarily both are the same version. each time you restart rtorrent you have to add the torrents by hand again. you may however always start rtorrent with all the torrents as parameter => this way all the torrents will be loaded on startup. IF you have your xbox running 24/7 and you login via ssh i suggest using the "screen" ...

screen is a really mighty tool, just the tool i needed.
rtorrent now runs succesfully even if i exit ssh connection.

(sorry zlasher haven't tried the nohup option => will remember that command for other programs :-))
