in my experience....if u put something in the evox.ini with an incorrect path....it doesnt show up on the menu....but i dont like evox much anyway....but i also dont like XBMC :-p....not customizeable enough for me

typing in the name dont work for some reason....i installed epsxe...and normally it would install to /usr/games/ but its not there...question is...wheres the executable? i can make a shortcut from there

i've posted this question before....but i'd say it was in a sloppy way...so i can ask again now :) where are apps once they're installed? im using xfce...i know with KDE u can just search for things to be put in the menu...but i've never used xfce...so how do i open stuff i install with portage? tha...

well you dont need to download any installation packages for gentoo or gentoox, thanks to portage XD...just go to a console and type "emerge -s limewire" with out the quotes and it will search for limewire....then find the thing u need and type "emerge limewire" if thats the name...

aw man......hmm....it should be i bios tool....if you have the gentoox loader have the ability to resize your screen.....and then emulate that as 640x480 in linux.....make it think that the bios resized screen is a regular screen size....would that work?

your problem here is a lack of understanding of the banks in an xecuter 3 :-p....just got one myself....and its confusing if you dont have a guide for it.....ON ON ON ON OFF is the same as ON ON ON ON ON...because the fifth switch is just for flash protect.....dont know how you managed to flash evox...

i dont know exactly the complications of the 1.6 box overscan problem...but in the unleashX dashboard...theres an option to resize the screen...and then you manually resize it by moving the corners (this can also correct off center screens)...could this not be inplemented in gentoox as an overscan f...

ok now THIS is meant to be a post :-p....i've installed mupen64 (a nintendo 64 emulator) and im not sre where to get at it....where's the executable file?

oh yeah never thought about it from the server end.....could be quite a load.....oh well....so long as potage dont have a speed limit im good :-p

ok yeah....everything is set up....but theres a 5 KB/s speed limit in magic?? that seems kinda slow seeing as u need a broadband connection to connect ur xbox anyway...not like its compensating for any dialup users.....anyway....is there anyway to up that to say 500 KB/s?

i was downloading with firefox...i tried downloading with my download manager (flashget) from IE and it worked perfect at 10 times as fast....now i've got a new problem....see my other post :-p

hi i was just wondering y theres no apps in the /usr/portage directory (im using KDE if it helps)....normally in gentoo i could just type emerge flash and i would get macromedia flash player....but its not in the portage directory?...havent tried an emerge -u world yet....but it should already work....
