So I'm assuming even if i could get access to my files over the network, it wouldn't be able to play them anyway. Or is there a way? I'm starting to thin...

Is it possible to stream video from a PC similar to what XBMC does or do you have to install the media on the Xbox hard drive? Thanks for the help.

FTP Install Help
I have done a lot of searching but I can't find the instructions on how to do an FTP install. I can't seem to create a DVD that will work properly in the Xbox. I wanted to just FTP the files over and install it that way. Can you point me to some help on this? Thanks.
