i leanred to just use my x-dsl live cd when i want to use firefox, its alot faster (not slamming gentoox, i love gentoox way more than dsl) I dont know why its faster, but it just is on dsl. You can veiw your apache server on your internal network by entering the ip your DHCP server on your router gives it. (For instance, mine is 192.168.2.4 on my internal network, but if you want to veiw it at a friends house or somthing, you have to either enter the external ip(google whats my ip), or...

thank you so much, saved me from buying a cd. I realized i was using an outdated program to try and burn iso, and thats hy it never worked. Although i couldnt figure out how to do the md5 thing, the iso burn was fine :D Thanks again!

Hey guys, sorry for al the trouble ive caused...good news and bad news...i really missed gentoox, so i did 1 last attempt. I deleted DSL, installed gentoox pro, and tryed emerge sync. well it failed just like before, but luckily i found somthing in the forums that helped me. unlink /etc/make.profile...

nope, disk had about 9gigs free...i finally gave up...and installed xdsl...I dont like it half as much as i like gentoox home, but i got apache and php installed in 4minutes. Not exagerating. It was amazingly easy for a noob like me. I think gentoox is a little too "smart" for me...with al...

ok i figured it out, but when i enter it it says the mke.profile thing exists. weird. I tryed to re sync, and it failed updating portage 6 times at about 52%. Any ideas?

if you can manage to get slayers evox disc, it has a restore dash function on it....best xbox cd ever imo...lets you reformat, install apps off it, everything.
