The spca5xx webcam driver

Hi I am trying to install the spca5xx webcam driver. When I do emerge spca5xx I get: >>> Source unpacked. * Preparing spca50x module make: *** No rule to make target `default'. Stop. Codec update

Hi

I thought I would update the thread with some findings. It seems that most DVDs work but some need a special audio codec

Im not sure what that is but it seems to be for 5.1 audio...the default

Anyway, not a huge issue...but would be nice to solve for future reference

Audio codec for playing DVDs

Hi

Does anyone know which audio codec works with playing DVDs (simple stereo audio)

I've been through most of them (in preferences) in MPlayer with no success.

I have read about the alsa codec and w32codecs possibly being the ones that are needed

Perhaps Xine is needed?

Thanks!

It s...

I assumed that /dev/dvd would have been created automatically in the root filesystem Anyone kn...
