I'm using Gentoox over VNC from my PC, but when I type some letters, its always going wrong :/

Where are stored the Apps ?
I wanted to log off at gentoox but it was hanging, so I pushed the reset button. Now is the apps bar at the bottom empty, Hhave I to make a new or can I recovery it ?

since I changed my Xbox to static, the gentoox ftp server is not working ;(
all the other apps like webmin & vnc are still working :/
