Im using component cable on the xbmc but as soon as i log into linux it goes funny,

When I try to log in to my yahoo messneger account, a screen comes up and says my account its locked and to go to the yahoo site. So I did, and logged in, on alinux browser. then tried to log it and the same message came up. How do I correct that problem, But, mymsn messenger accoutn is ok.

When i log into gentoox the screen goes all funny
how do i correct that?

Also what is the best version to use. home or pro edition?

What if i had component cable? do that make a diff?
how hard is it to see in the progressive mode?

Im just wondering if 1.6 will handle linux, i have heard about over scanning , how is that over rided. my box has x3ce chip.

Can linux be installed?
