As i was informed it's not the kernel i dont want but the bios. I didnt have enough room to fully extract the package. Man i feel stupid :-/ I guess endless hours of tv tend to take up hard drive space? anyhow i cleared up room and will shortly retry.

Heres a pic of me connected to my xbox with flash fxp with the e drive up

It goes to options screen (like before)
I select Fatx, then Boot Gentoox.
Then the first thing comes up loading kernel /vmlinuz (or something very simliar) .... (!) in red
System halt!

Then nothing happens...

It just blinks red and i can't do anything.

ftping the files back over, everything i extracted from distro is ftping to e (not i'm not ftping the distro folder, but the items in it.)

I don't have a modchip.
I have flashed my xbox's bios.
I cannot flash them again, I want to use Gentoox. It boots up loading kernel failed, system hault :-/

I'm talking about getting one working on my pc then streaming or somehow giving xbox acess to it, i think that's possible atleast.

What's a good tv tuner card to use with Xbox's Myth tv. I'm trying to spend well under $100, but also want quality. Got suggestios?

Oh didn't know people could post tutorials. Anyhow will what impact will the Gentoox BIOS have? will it make linux run faster? Anyhow i still have a web questions:
1) Will the default hard drive hold Gentoox?
2) Will a mouse through USB work?

I've downloaded the package, but i'm scared to install. My xbox has gone through many odd things. First i sucesfully installed a modchip. Then the switch broke. Then the modchip broke. Then an exploit was installed. I could still swap xbox hard drives w/o a modchip. If i install GentooX will it load...

New issue. I use a font exploit, this gets the clock all messed up.
