ok thx 4 the updated raincoat but now i get this:S

because in the doc's they say Installation

+ Copy 'loader.xbe' to E:\gentooxx.xbe (/mnt/fatx/e/gentooxx.xbe)

+ Flash 'loader.bin' to your TSOP/ Modchip (raincoat -p loader.bin)

what's the manufacter id of the new loader:S

and i can't edit my files by ftp becasuse i can't login there with the root?

boy you are complicated.... dont u have cable, if you do then your cable would normally be close to the tv. If you have dsl, you would have a phone line somewhere close. You said you have an access point, a router, so you should be able to work it out as a weekend project just moving around things ...
