Done :D Gentoox Loader: WS v1.0 based on Resctoox is now ready, starting at boot, it shows index.html in E:\gentooxws\public_html\, links are fully working, cgi must also, ssl is working... I will put it here in a few hours (I want to finish it). I'm going to add php support if I can, config file fu...

:? I was sure that somebody may say I can use a sort of Resctoox But I doesn't matter, the goal is not to have Linux loaded (kernel and initrd) but an executable (the .xbe), only this. To make thing clearer: I would like finding a way to have a lil' webserver without any big work or modification, I ...

[Idea] Gentoox Loader : Web Server
Hey Shallax! After the release of GxL v6.03c, I saw that it seems to be pretty easy to make a real Native web server on a xbox (without loading any Linux thing, except the Loader itself). So I thought that a good idea can be a new Gentoox Loader (GL:WS for Web Server), loading from .bin or .xbe, but...

Hi all, I said the same thing to Shallax in a recent post: Ohh also, check if you can that reiserfs works natively with the Loader, because I followed the tutorial made by cheesyboofs to run gentoox 100% natively and on boot no linuxboot.cfg was found, but I tried it with ext3 FS and after linuxboot...

Ook :? I forget the idea.. Wasn't Cobalt sufficient? (yea I knew that all people from SunOS migrate to Linux but even on routers? ) I saw that these drivers aren't in devel because of montains of versions of 2.4 and 2.6 kernel.. But as Sun did, you can use 2.2 kernel, if you didn't alrealy do ...

Hi Shallax, it's me again
I saw that you've got a Qube2 and I'd like to know where you bought it? (I searched on Sun's homepage but I found only specifications..)
Thanks,

Via the append line? Not a so bad idea.. Shallax, you're my god :D I'll test it as soon as I can, but anyway you did an awesome job !!! Thanks a million thousand times! *EDIT*: I've just tested it, it's fully working, kernel and initrd upload worked very well, the box also :D I tested it with Rectoox (.iso extracted): all is fully w...

Gentoox Loader and Netboot request
Hi Shallax, Yesterday I upgraded my modchip (xecuter 3) with Gentoox Loader 6.02, and congratulations: your Netboot is a real usefull function! And I think you can make it better by adding a "web server" function, let me explain wht I think: with this web server you'll be able to connect t...
