Hey, i've got a problem... i installed glftpd on my xbox.. i read the glftpd docs about 1000x times.. nothing i could find wich i did wrong... it works fine when logging in to the machine by using the localhost --> ftp localhost:51234 .. but somehow.. it seems to block connections from the outside.....

when booting stardust cd -- home v3.2 .. it gets stuck while initializing network...

if someone could pls tell me what to do thankz

Hey folks, i wanna replace my dvd drive with a 120 GB IDE ATA HDD, what do i have to do in gentoox.. to get it to work i dont know the location of the drive, and if i have to mount it somehow, or if i have to get a new filesstem on it..

perhaps you need the new version of gentoox wich contains new display drivers.. i had the problem some months ago.. flashing screen when booting gentoox


check your current version and compare with the latest version on the website

login to webmin.. go to systems and there you'll see something named user management... the easiest way to create users

you should use webmin idd it's THE perfect help system for newbies

there is a virtual keyboard located on gentoox.... ( home edition ) wich can be controlled by your xpad.. using thumbstick as mouse and... i thought it was A as enter etc. so you wouldnt need a mouse/keyboard at all :) ( it's only easier when you do lots of stuff on your xbox, like irc gaim etc. ) y...

as trevante says.. its important to copy the files to E:/ and not to a folder on the E

just copy them straight to your E:/ and run gentoox.xbe should work

then try to connect again

Some help needed for using usb webcam on gentoox.....

i dont know how to install such a device, and programs for vieuwing / recording / streaming... etc...

my primary target is to create a remote video security device on my xbox....

what version..

the old ones have probs with the video drivers ... when booting the stardust iso or gentoox.xbe from your hdd.. the screen flashes...


this is all fixed in the latest versions
