I think I might have to reinstall RabbIT again cause I have chmod it so many time I don't even know was the original property of the files anymore.

Vplayer, I am actually vnc to my xbox right now as we speak and try to edit the file. Permission to /usr/local/

Hi I have just installed RabbIT2 proxy server and I need to get access to the config file to change the port number which I need for it to run under but could not update the file even when I login using ( su - ). Is there a way I can update this config file. This is a permission issue for patch /usr...

Yeah...I got the same error when trying to save to F but not on E. So do I have to give F the write right or something??....wait a minute!!...than doesn't make any sense because I was able to create a folder call "Share" on F via Gentoox....so the write right issue might not be the case. L...

Same thing here...just installed Gentoox two days ago (thanks Shallax) and trying to figure out what's the problem is. Was able to tune into shoutcast but can seems to get the sound out of my cdrom with XMMS.


Totally new to Linux...but I will learn.
