i was on irc with my xbox yesterday and i am from finland so i tried to type äö but cause gentoox is english settings i cant so if someone could point me to finland language settinds

ok i got gentoox working on my 1.6 pal box nicely and i was so happy
then i ran magic and when it was done rebooted and then i logged in my keyboard was doing this funny thing when i write "root" it writes "rroooott"
so it takes every key stroke twice what can i do
