You might be able to get an earlier version of windows to run through an emulator like VmWare/Bochs, etc. However I'm pretty sure that you'll find WINE, at this stage to be a better solution, if you want to use Windows Apps. Not gonna happen. If you want a webserver, you build a webserver. Not everyone is going to want apache. If you DO want apache, you should be using the pro edition.. in which case you should be a pro.. meaning you should be good enough to install apache. Shouldn't the same apply to mysql, yacc, and ...

Theoreticly it should be possible to run an XBE from within linux, in the same way as it is possible to run linux from an XBE.
