Why you're not using samba to transfer your files ?
You can map the drives with this, would be easier.

I found my problem with a little help from google.

I had to

Code: Select all

emerge pciutils
Now it's working like a charm
Maybe you thought I was running Home version but I have the PRO, maybe it's preinstalled in the home version.

Anyway thanks for your help, you pointed me in the good direction.

Running a DNS server on Gentoox

Hi, I've been using Gentoox for like 2-3 years now and I was always using Zoneedit.com to point to my ip.

Is there a way to bypass zoneedit and tell my domain registrar to point directly to my server ?

Thank you

Can't seem to connect to it... Times out trying to connect to ww2.r0bzombie.com:81. I can connect to http://www.r0bzombie.com but that seems to redirect to the above and times out on the redirect. Now you can, my server was down and I didn't notice it. BTW, the only thing I did with the zipped file...

Hi cheesyboofs, you should update your tutorial. With gentoox pro 4.0 (I don't know about home) we have to put this in the fstab. # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> /dev/hda1 none swap sw 0 0 /dev/hda2 / reiserfs notail 0 1 p...
