Cool!

lol, 1 or 2 isn't there.

Just thought of a use for me if you did :) I could flash it to my X3 backup bank and boot gentoox with power/eject and still have flash backup capabilities.

Thanks

p.s. sent the source anyway.

eh? lol, I meant just ShepD's unauthorized flashbios project (i.e additions to standard flashbios) not just standard flashbios.

Personally I don't have a use for it but thought some may.

xorg working

Just run magic to get xorg :) and it seems fine, maybe a liitle quicker too ! Don't forget to run etc-update for all the X11 changes. I added in the xorg.conf some more bit depths 15, 16 and 32 as I run in 15bit to save memory and gain speed., (can't tell the difference on a tv anyway) and these wor...

xbe loaders lock on first boot but not with m8 or cromwell

Both my 1.1 xbox's used to lockup on first boot at the first network activity since the change to force death. I always used gentoox loader.xbe to launch from a dash (did the same with xromwell too). I use a fixed IP (same with dhcp) Switch off and back on and it boots fine (if the fs is still intac...

Yep tried it when I got home, 15bpp and 16bpp work fine, looks exactly the same, uses less memory and has smother scrolling/fmv etc :)

8bpp goes mangled, at least in NTSC didn't try PAL.

Can I remove vnc from xfree and will I save much memory?

Can I remove or ideally disable the vnc that shallax added to xfree? just to save memory. Would be nice to be able to enable/disable when required.

Can I change xfree colour depth on Gentoox?

Hi, I'm currently going through everything I can to reduce memory usage.(still haven't installed my extra memory I got :( )
depth
Can I reduce xfree's colour depth from 32bpp to 16bpp, 15bpp or maybe 8bpp. Or is 32bpp the only working one for the xbox.

Cheers
