XPad in home 3.0
Does anyone else still have trouble with the xpad not being recognised on boot up, this was supposed to be fixed with the new cromwell but it's still giving me a headache, I have had to re-install 5 times already. I am running gentoox on a pal v1.1 xbox, X2pro, x2 4977,120 gig hard disk with gentoox...

Mounting iso's in gentoox??
I am trying to mount an iso in gentoox, I have got the iso stored on a new partition on my f drive (/mnt/linux) but I am having problems. I get an error regarding no loopback device, superbock or too many devices. I have had a look on a few sites and can't find the solution but I suppose the first q...

Don't know if I am a bit of the mark here or not and if I am right it is going to take a while for me to figure out. From reading this post I got the idea that I might be able to make these partitions at a point on my f drive, it is 110gig so would I be able to make these partitons and still leave m...

XFCE 4 Final
Hiya - Just been to the XFCE website and noticed that there is now a stable release available. So I suppose this question is for ShALLaX - When do you expect to start work on the home v2.2 release. This post is not intended to put pressure on/hurry you as I am aware of your lack of time with uni and...

Wireless USB Keyboard & Mouse in Gentoox
As I am gonna buy a wireless mouse and keyboard setup for Gentoox this weekend. I was wondering if there was a list of supported devices, or if anyone could post there working setups for me so I have an idea of what to buy. There is not much choice in the UK but I don't want to buy an unsupported de...

First of all I would like to say thanks for this great distro - It is the reason NTL are coming to fit my 1mb connection on monday before I even think about building my PC. Not trying to hurry you on in any way mate, just wondering if there is an expected release as I would much rather be using XFCE...
